Pray dangerous prayers! The Father desires to take you on an amazing adventure.
I gave Jesus the keys of my life one day. I said take control I’ll follow You wherever You’ll lead me.
Have you ever prayed dangerous prayers? Did you know prayer works? I had an idea, but to what extend?
Did you ever think that when you gave it all up to Him, He would take you places you’d never dream off? Had you imagined that some time it would be hard and heart breaking? That it would mean giving everything you have everything you are? Not really. I had no clue. I had just one promise, one desire; that I would be with Him forever, that one day I would know Him fully. I just wanted more of Him.
Despite the pain of having to say goodbye, the scare of having to step into the unknown, I have such an excitement in my heart, every time, to follow the leading of the Lord in the new places He leads me. Growing up I’ve always dreamed off adventure but was always too afraid to take it out of my room. When I prayed that prayer, the Father took my hand, and He has ever since, taken me in the most amazing adventures, far from what I have ever dreamed off.
Tomorrow I’m off for one of those adventures. With my hand in His, we are going again. I have to say goodbye for a while to my beloved Gateways community, because I’m moving to France for a few years to studie. I know things in the grand lines but there’s so much I don’t know. My heart is torn between emotions, I’m so sad to leave those I love and cherished and wish I could have them with me forever, but I’m full of excitement, wonder and joy for the adventure I’m going on with the Father.
I want to challenge you pray, because prayer works! Take your dreams into a new place, give Him the keys and you will never regret it! You have no idea of the adventures waiting for you on the other side of the door.
