Walking in hope
I spent Christmas and New Year here in Geneva with the community. It was a blessed time. Through this season I discovered in a new ways the goodness of God and received anew the revelation of his fatherhood over my life. His love and adoption are truer today than they have ever been before. He is an awesome God.
I received a new revelation during the holidays. For a long time I thought that in order to go forward with God I had to first fix my past, but I realized that it is rather by pressing onward in God, trusting Him every step of the way that things will change. As I step forward with God He takes care of my past – healing and restoring me.
So I start this New Year with open eyes, expectant and excited to see all that he has for me. I don’t exactly know what is lying ahead but I walk forward with boldness and joy because I know my heavenly Father will be there every step of the way.

Powerful words Marie. Thanks for sharing this. It is a good reminder for us to be forward and upward people in our perspectives and our movement. God wants us to be about the present and the future while we trust him with our lives, because he already took care of the past. Thanks for writing this.
