I have been journeying with John in his engagement in fulfilling the SOIL commitment. This led me to look back at the site and notice that it has been inactive for quite some time. I assume we have all been engaged in the current calling God has placed before each one of us. For the past four years Linda and I have been engaged in starting a shelter for runaway/homeless youth in crisis: https://www.yeshelter.org/
with a couple of forays to Kenya and Lesotho.
I am reminded to stay postured such that Psalm 73:25 is true of me. In a broken world where so many even in the church are hesitant to obey God's call to love one another, I am discouraged at my own withdrawal from relationships and of those around me. This is a call to step into the call to prayer of II Chron. 7:13-14.
